Last Nights Moby Show
Tremendous. Great fun and a great first true concert for my return home. It was the 3rd Anniversary party for Music Snobbery and I can’t believe that a blogger can put together a show like this. Well it took him 3 years I suppose, but very cool and very fun. I even think I saw the guy kiss Moby’s bald head. He might have overdone it a little bit, but whatever.
He, and the rest of the band, played a good set of Moby songs and some covers as well. The place was super tiny and as such even cooler to see such a major artist. The setlist was as follows (as taken from musicsnobbery.)
1) Extreme Way
2) Natural Blues
3) I Like It
4) Porcelain
5) I’m On Fire
6) Run On
7) Walk on the Wild Side
8 ) That’s When I Reach For My Revolver
9) Slipping Away
10) New Dawn Fades
11) Disco Lies
12) Honey
13) Encore: Rebel Yell
14) Drunken Encore: Immigrant Song
15) I Shall Be Released
Though I havnt fully listened to his new album “Last Night”, I did get to enjoy my current favorite off of it “Disco Lies”. He also dedicated “Slipping Away” to a fan who recently passed away as well, and that was quite touching.

And most importantly, I got to shake his hand and say hi again.
